How to Clean Jewelry With Baking Soda

How to Clean Sterling Silver Jewelry With Baking Soda | eHow.com

In the 52 Week Organized Home Challenge, the task is your jewelry box and accessories.  I decided that this was a perfect time to clean my jewelry.  In my search to find a safer way to clean jewelry, I found that many people suggested baking soda and aluminum foil.  I figured, what can it hurt and decided to give it a try. I was shocked.  Everything that I put in there to be cleaned came out cleaner than I expected. It also came out much cleaner than the last time I cleaned it with your standard chemical jewelry cleaner.  🙂  I forgot to take before and after pictures though 🙁 So next time I have to clean my jewelry, I will post pictures.  On a side note, I put both gold and silver in there, and both came out clean 🙂
