Tasty Thursday – Fudge

My favorite recipe, just in time for the holidays. It makes a perfect gift or addition to a holiday party.

Every year I make fudge for friends and family. I have used the same recipe forever (it’s not a secret, its on a jar of fluff). This is for everyone who thinks it is hard to make fudge.

The ingredients:
3 cups of sugar
1 1/2 sticks of butter (I always use real butter, but I’m sure you can use margarine)
5 oz. Of condensed milk
12 oz of semi sweet chocolate
7 oz marshmallow fluff
1 tsp vanilla
Walnuts, if you want

Add sugar, butter and condensed milk to pan. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly.

Let this boil for 4-5 min.

Then I turn the burner as low it goes and add the chocolate.

Once this is mixed in well, add the fluff and vanilla.

After all that, add the walnuts if you like.

Pour this into a lined square baking pan and let it set.

I put mine in the fridge to help it.

See… I told you it was simple. It’s also a great arm workout.

Looking forward to hearing how this worked for you.
