RedWeek.com is a marketplace for time share rentals and sales. I had the pleasure of checking the site out as a member. I have always heard good times about renting a timeshare. Renting a time share gives you the benefits of a time share without the requirement of purchasing one.
The rates are often way better than hotels. An example of this was DBV. If you go to the hotel’s site to rent a studio, currently the rate starts at $405 a night, BUT that same room, as a time share, starts at ~ $150. Plus, this gives you a chance to check out a place before buying, if that is what you wanted to do (which I do, especially at this particular resort). Since Peanut was born, I have been dying to planning a BIG vacation. I’m hoping that next year, when he’s a little older, we will be able to take one. Right now, it seems like a waste because, really, how much is he going to enjoy it?
I think the biggest plus to time shares is that you have a full kitchen so you can cook there vs. eating out. I know, who wants to cook on vacation? But, since my favorite place to go is Orlando, it comes in handy. You can make some sandwiches and pack them so you aren’t paying the ridiculous prices that some of the theme parks charge. The great thing about this site is that it allows you to contact the owners directly about renting their time shares. So I know, you are dying to know what the giveaway is. Well, it a 2 year membership to RedWeek.com.
I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
