I love learning about blogging so I jumped at the opportunity to work with @TheBlogWorkshop. You can check them out at http://
theblogworkshop.com. #TBW is the brainchild of of lifestyle blogger Da Vinci. FRom their about page “The Blog Workshop is being organized by lifestyle blogger Da Vinci, founder of YourLifeAfter25.com. As a veteran blogger of almost 6 years professionally and 10 years of blogging all together, Da Vinci has been able to witness the blogging phenomenon grow, evolve and flourish. With that growth Da Vinci has been able to cultivate a trusted audience of readers, fans, followers and supporters. Your Life After 25 is receiving on average 300,000+ monthly visitors with over 1,500,000 impressions/page views a month.”
I have signed up for the community because I love having other like minded people to talk to and when you are a stay at home mom, that isn’t always the easiest thing to find. You can sign up for their community here: http://theblogworkshop.
What I noticed is that it is a fairly new community so it is not as active as some of the others that I participate in. I will definitely be waiting to see if it picks up, as the community is one of the most important factors for me.
The Blog Workshop University can be found at: http://
theblogworkshop.com/university. I went to the page to review the information provided. They offer a one year program that is supposed to teach you the ins and outs of a successful blogging enterprise. I have looked over the curriculum and it seems to be a comprehensive plan. It covers many areas that people have questions in.
TBW University is also in charge of the workshops, which is what I am really interested in.
I enjoy attending online workshops because I want to learn, and it means I don’t usually need a sitter for my son. The next workshop they have coming up is Blogging Laws You Should Know. I’m only excited for this because I can’t keep up with all the changes and disclosure requirements, so I really need that class.
