Time for Summer Outdoor Projects

This is a Sponsored post written by me on behalf of Miracle-Gro. All opinions are 100% mine.

I  love summer! It’s time for outdoor and garden projects.  I’ve always used Miracle-Gro in my gardens, so I love the fact they have some cute summer fun garden projects to do at The Gro Project.  I’m also a Pinterest junkie, so I’m glad they have a page. It gives me tons of ideas.  Lots of honey do projects coming up.

I’m going to be working on the Origami Garden since I already have a flourishing herb garden.  I was going to do the G.Y.O.B. originally.

Don’t forget to go download your instructions (they have the templates), but I have also posted the basics here for you.

ORIGAMI GARDEN
What you need (if you don’t have it already):
• Scissors
• Cardboard
• Yarn or string
• Metal ring for hanging
• A small plant
• Miracle-Gro® Moisture Control® Potting Mix
• Origami Instructions (page 2)
• Macramé Instructions (page 3)
• Glue
• Miracle-Gro® Shake ‘n Feed® Plant Food
Step 1: Cut It
Use the origami template (page 2) to draw a polygon on a piece of cardboard,
then cut it out.
Step 2: Fold It
Fold your cardboard according to instructions. Glue the overlapping pieces together.
Step 3: Tie It
While the glue is drying, use the macramé instructions (page 3) to knot your hanger.
Step 4: Plant It
Fill a lightweight pot with potting mix, then transfer your plant to it. When your origami
planter is completely dry, nestle the potted plant in it.
Step 5: Green Thumbs Up!
Sit back and enjoy your masterpiece. To keep it looking lovely, you need to feed it.

Don’t forget your in ground plants.  They need to be fed too.  Check out LiquaFeed All Purpose Plant Food Advance Starter Kit
