Gryphon of the Hidden Realm Review

Another book review ūüôā I had the pleasure of reading¬†Gryphon of the Hidden Realm. ¬†I like fantasy, heroic fiction type novels. In all honesty, I struggled with it. There were times I had to force myself to continue. I don't like slow paced books, and this one was especially slow. The author does have a very interesting idea and it is well written, just so slow. ¬†There are so many details,¬†although I could probably paint you a picture from all the details, enough is enough. ¬†What's Read more [...]

Jammy Jams – Once Upon A Rhyme Review

My peanut really loves music so I listen to lots of the same songs over and over again. ¬†He really has his favorites. ¬†I enjoy trying out new music with him to see what he thinks. From the company: "On ‚ÄúOnce Upon A Rhyme: Lullaby Renditions Of Hip-Hop Classics‚ÄĚ, Jammy Jams explores the melodies of old school hip-hop songs and brings them to life with calming renditions for parents to enjoy along with their babies. The parent can take a stroll down memory lane while creating brand new memories Read more [...]

Finding Monsters Review

Y'all already know I love to read.  So here is my thoughts on Finding Monsters. Liss Thomas did a great job.  Finding Monsters is a Young Adult novel.  It tells the tale of a human and her monster.  There is a little love story but there is battles and quests as well.  You don't want to put it down because you can't wait to see what happens next to Missy and Charlie.  They never thought that one little touch would turn their lives upside down like it did. I was caught up in it by the end Read more [...]

UConceive Review & Giveaway

Where to start...  As those of you who follow along know, Peanut is 14 months old now.  Ideally, I wanted to start trying for #2 right around the 12 month mark.  It seemed like the whole time we "tried" to get pregnant , it didn't happen.  As soon as we stopped worrying about it, BAM! I was pregnant.   This time, I wanted to up the chances of it happening when we wanted it to.  So I was sent the UConceive Fertility Kit. Actually, we were sent two kits.  The first kit was missing Read more [...]

F.A.S.T. Shampoo and Conditioner Review

I have been trying to grow my hair back out ever since I cut it off a few years ago. ¬†I was contacted by Nisim to review their¬†F.A.S.T. Shampoo and Conditioner.   I checked the reviews on the internet while I waited for my package to get here. ¬†It seemed to work for most people, so I was excited. ¬†The one complaint I noticed was that your hair seemed to feel dry, even with the conditioner so you needed to use another product. ¬†No big deal, I do lots of deep conditioning treatments Real propranolol

Ozeri WeightMaster Digital Bathroom Scale Review

We needed a new scale in our house.  Not sure how or why the other one died, but it did.  So, I just didn't worry about it and left it at that.  I was thrilled at the opportunity to review a scale, especially since we needed one. I love the feel of the scale.  It's not slick, kinda rubbery feeling.  Plus, the fact that there is Microban on/in it is a great bonus.  Feet can be kinda gross... I love how thin and light the scale was.  So much better quality than our last one.  Also, I love Read more [...]

Review – Groove Kid Nation ‘Rhythm Bears’

I was thrilled to review this CD.  After listening to hours of the same music, I was dying for a change of pace.  Peanut can be fussy about what music he likes. We listened to it in the house the first time.  He loved it.  He loves dancing to music, so that is usually how I gauge whether or not he liked it. He was spinning and stomping everywhere.  He didn't follow any of the suggestions on the CD unless I did them and he copied me.  We had lots of fun listening and dancing to this. Next Read more [...]

Haven: A Stranger Magic Review

I really love reading and love being sent books to read and review. Books that involve magic and mystery are my weakness. so this was right up my alley. To start, this is a series called Haven by D.C. Ackers.  I have actually read other books by this author, so I enjoy the style.  With A Stranger Magic, I feel that you really get to know each of the characters well, and you can't wait to see what adventures they are going to have.  It is a quick and easy read, even with a toddler constantly Read more [...]
